Tim Geurin

Tim Geurin
Director of Homecare

I have been with Prism Medical for 5 years.  I started in customer service in 2009 and have worked as both an inside and outside sales person and I am now director of our home care distribution network.  While with Prism Medical I have experienced in all three areas of our business; Hospital, Long Term Care and Home Care.  I get the most enjoyment out of the home care because I am providing solutions to clients and their loved ones in the area they need it the most, their own home. Having grown up in St. Louis, I really enjoy working for a company that supports and gives back to my hometown.

Account Manager

As an Account Manager I have relationships with over 200 facilities and more than 1,000 employees that I proudly call friends.  I travel the Midwest visiting long term care, assisted living, skilled nursing and acute care facilities. Together we develop a prescriptive Safe Resident Handling solution custom tailored to the facilities specific objectives. Our hands on approach is proof that our commitment to in person service is not only successful but encouraged and accepted by many facilities across the nation.  At Prism, we preserve caregiver and resident safety one person at a time.  Prism Medical is a safe choice to make.

Craig Hamann
Project Manager

I have worked in the healthcare industry for 40 plus years. I don’t look at my job as just scheduling and installing equipment. Nightingale is a service helping to create an environment where a person can be cared for with increased comfort, safety and dignity. Of course I know installations, but more importantly I get to know the needs and concerns of the people it will serve. Our Nightingale  team understands, as fully as I do that we’re in an important business of helping people, that’s why I am proud to be a part of the Nightingale Team.

Steve Schmitt

Steve Schmitt
Training Manager

As the training manager at Prism Medical, it is my job to develop and schedule product training for customers, dealers and internal employees and make sure they are using our equipment safely and correctly. I have clinical application experience from three global medical device companies and began my career in acute care facilities in the radiography department. I then went on to get my BS in Vocational Education from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. When not helping people find safe patient handling solutions for their loved ones, I enjoy biking, drawing and painting.

Amy Lauber

Amy Lauber
Clinical Trainer

I have trained clinical staffs on how to use our products teaching them the most effective safe patient handling techniques. Prior to Prism, I’ve had experience in physical therapy, gym, pool, and daily lifestyle settings. I have been certified by three nationally recognized personal training associations (AFAA, ISSA, NASM) as well as by the American Cross (CPR, AED, Water Safety Instruction). I attended Loyola Marymount University- Los Angeles, where I was a 4 year NCAA Division I athlete (Women's Crew) and obtained a BA in Business and Design.  Teaching our customers how to use our equipment is rewarding because they actually appreciate it so much.

Event Coordinator

I love my job at Prism Medical for so many reasons, but primarily due to our mission to provide premier safe patient handling and mobility equipment to our customers. Prism's products give loved ones the independence and ability to live in the comfort of their own homes. Professional and personal care givers feel at ease knowing their clients and loved ones are in good hands. I coordinate and plan the ongoing education classes for our clinical trainers so that our end users get the best possible training and access to our extensive line of products. I take pride in knowing we are able to help so many.
